Clear Green Mini Gem Fluorite from England FL612

In 2022, a small yet impressive pocket of Fluorite was discovered at the Lady Annabella mine, aptly named the Mini Gem Pocket. The pocket is characterized by the presence of interpenetrant twinned cubic crystals with a pale chrome leaf green hue, situated on a ferruginous, altered limestone matrix. The Fluorite crystals possess a gem-like quality, boasting a bright and glassy lustre with curvilinear striated growth patterns and slightly bevelled edges. 

When exposed to indirect sunlight, a subtle natural purple fluorescence can be observed, however, under longwave UV, the Fluorite crystals emit a bright lavender white colour with slightly darker lilac face centers. The unique combination of gem-like quality, colour, and fluorescence make the Mini Gem Pocket a noteworthy discovery in the world of mineralogy.
