Action, Vitality, Wealth

Crystamour is delighted to present yet another exceptional mineral combination. The common blend of Pyrite and Calcite minerals undergoes a meticulous transformation by Mother Nature's infinite imagination to produce an exquisite specimen that has never been seen before.

The Pyrites, displaying a dominant pyritohedron formation, exhibit an iridescent and etched golden appearance with notable pitting and remarkable uneven surfaces that will leave you in awe of its formation. Accompanying the Pyrites are tightly stacked Mangano Calcites, in a white bladed form, that turn a gentle pink under longwave UV. These Calcites grow in symbiosis with the Pyrites, and you can observe them growing on, under, and even inside the Pyrites' cavities.

Our hypothesis regarding the formation of these specimens is that the oxidation of Pyrite leads to the formation of iron sulphate, which is then transformed into sulphuric acid. This chemical reaction may cause dissolvement to the surface of the Pyrite, and the Calcite growth occurs somewhere between this phase and the present time. It is a logical assumption that the Pyrite was oxidised before the Calcite growth, as sulphuric acid has a significant effect on Calcite, being a carbonate. These unique specimens are truly a marvel of nature, and the intricate details and complexities make it an ideal addition to any collection.

Pyrite, commonly known as Fool’s Gold, resonates with your Solar Plexus Chakra. Filled with Earth and Fire energy, it symbolizes the warmth of the earth and eternal presence of the Sun. Masculine in nature, it stimulates action, vitality and will, and the ability to generate wealth by one’s own power.
