UV Phantoms in Yellow Fluorite from China BFL53

Possibly the rarest locality in China, straight from the heart of the land of the dragon, these Fluorites are not to be missed. A 2022 find, the Fluorites exhibit a glassy luster and are usually of a small size. With sharp cubic edges and defined blue phantoms, it strikes a nice contrast with the yellow of the body.

While most Fluorites are fluorescent, what sets these Fluorites apart is the fact that the phantoms itself, is UV reactive. Under 395nm UV, the blue phantoms take on an ethereal hue. In some specimens, one can observe the same phenomena in the Fluorite core itself, forming multiple layers of alternating colours.

Metaphysically, Fluorite promotes focus, intuition and understanding. It helps to bring chaos into order, promoting stability, free thinking and clear unbiased reasoning. Fluorite also helps to draw away negative energy and stress, and is an excellent learning aid.
