A by-product of the oxidation of uranium minerals, Autunite is to be handled with care. Proper storage away from direct sunlight and water source is advised, and the precautions similar to the handling of Malachite and Azurite applies. 

Always wash hands after handling. Avoid inhaling dust when handling or breaking. Never lick or ingest. Avoid prolonged exposure in proximity of the body. Store away from inhabited areas. 

To avoid all the hassle, these specimens will be shipped in a jewellery clear film display case.
